Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul musician, as well as songwriter and actress. She has been awarded various accolades like a Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for an Academy Award. Growing up, Day listened to contemporary R&B music and then pop. However, her heart was always drawn to classical soul and jazz singers. Kai Millard Morris was able to catch a performance she delivered and later returned to the studio with Day's tracks the singer. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz was introduced to Day by the Motown legend. Allied to Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day gained a large popularity on YouTube and later signed to major label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day released her debut single Forever Mine on YouTube. DJs played it immediately in radio. After signing with Warner Bros. Records, she started working alongside producer Adrian Gurvitz to create their debut record "Cheers to the Fall" (2015). It included Rise Up, that has since become a global song of the social justice movement. Day earned 2 Grammy nominations for the album, including Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album on the famous jazz musician's life and career, came out in 2019. The United States against Billie Holiday was released in 2021. This was the year that she also appeared as Holiday. Andi Mattichak is an American actor. She started her career on TV series like Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her film debut was in the role of Allyson in the series of horror Halloween. Andi matichak is a American actress, born 03 May 1994 in Framingham in Massachusetts.
