Zoe-perry
Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the role. She was not allowed to perform by her parents until she reached an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the strain it might result in. Perry claims she never wanted to become an actor during highschool but decided to start performing as a form of social interaction while at Northwestern University when she switched to it from Boston University. Perry was able to land minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. The feeling of homelessness, however, led her back to California to return, where she started performing in the stage. Perry was a part of Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In 2015, she starred with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played a recurring role on The ABC political thriller Scandal with her father. She played a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. The role was offered to her through an open audition despite having a connection to the persona.
